Call for Sites - for potential housing, commercial, leisure and community development

We recently wrote to Alfold Residents about the need to build more housing in Alfold and the Parish Council’s decision to produce a Neighbourhood Plan. The Neighbourhood Plan offers the residents the opportunity to work with the Parish Council to guide the future development of Alfold. The first stage in producing this Plan is to identify the sites in the Parish of Alfold that are available and potentially suitable for housing, commercial, leisure and community development.

Call for Sites

If you know of a site that you would like to put forward for our consideration, whether or not you are the landowner, please complete our ‘Call for Sites’ form.

The form can be downloaded from the link below:

Alternatively hard copies of the form are available by post from the Parish Council Office: phone 01483 200314 or email

Please return a completed Call for Sites form together with a location plan to the Alfold Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group:

by post at Fairview, Guildford Road, Alfold Crossways, Surrey, GU6 8HF

by 28th February 2018

If you know a landowner who owns a potential site but does not live in Alfold and therefore may not become aware of this Call for Sites please let us know.

What happens next

Once the information has been analysed, we will be consulting Alfold residents for their views. This is a key part of the Neighbourhood Planning process - letting you have a say about the proposals.

We will also shortly be carrying out surveys of the housing and business needs of the village to establish the amount and type of new development needed.
