Flooding

Flooding of both surface water and sewage has had a devastating effect on many Alfold residents. Whilst the parish council has no statutory responsibility address flooding, we realise how it can ruin lives as well as properties so we are doing all we can to work with the Environment Agency and Surrey and Waverley councils to prevent flooding in the future. Anne Milton MP has been chairing regular meetings in the village, primarily aimed at addressing sewage flooding.

The next Flood Meeting to be chaired by Anne Milton will be held at Alfold Village Hall ion Friday 14th October at 1pm.  Follow the links below for the notes of previous meetings, correspondence and other information you may find helpful.
